What we build

Blackrail Technologies develops and operates its own software products and builds custom software, automation and integrations for organizations.

Our work spans software architecture and engineering, developer tools, workflow automation, optional AI integrations, data infrastructure, and self-hosted, local-first software.

Why we exist

A great deal of everyday work still runs on software that almost fits: tools bent around a process, data copied between systems by hand, and repetitive tasks that software could do. We started Blackrail to close those gaps with software that is useful first, and to build products we would want to rely on ourselves.
